Site review:
This is our backup site for when the gorge and Willamette valley are full of rain. There is a face for wind in each direction, but the best flying is from the E wind side (a rare wind direction). You can see the Pacific ocean from here, even though it is about 20 miles away. Snowed in for the winter, rainy in the fall and spring, and other sites more appealing in the summer. This site has nevertheless been a good backup for weird weather conditions.
