AREA B
Area B is a medium sized sand dune ridge on the N coast of Oregon located in Fort Stevens State Park. It is named after the parking area used for access to the site. This sand dune is used for paragliding training and also makes a nice site for R/C glider slope soaring with smaller, lighter models. If the wind gets too strong, it only produces horizontal forces with little lift. It is recommended to fly this site with light or medium-light models in 8-15 MPH winds.
